SCTP Agentic AI Specialist

The SCTP Agentic AI Specialist Programme is an entry-level, skills-based training programme designed for individuals with no prior background in AI or programming. The course focuses on building practical, job-ready capabilities in designing and deploying basic to intermediate AI agents for automation and workflow support.

Across 158 hours of hands-on training, learners are guided step-by-step through the foundations of Agentic AI, including prompt logic, framework flows, and multi-agent workflow architectures. The emphasis is on learning by doing, enabling participants to create AI agents of different types for real-world business use cases such as task automation, information handling, customer support, and simple decision workflows.

This programme is not a formal academic qualification. Instead, it is a high-intensity, skills-focused training course supported by practical labs, guided projects, and mentoring sessions. Learners will graduate with the ability to conceptualise, build, and deploy functional AI agent projects, and to understand how agentic systems are applied at different levels of complexity in industry.

Generative & Agentic AI Foundations

This programme introduces learners to the foundational concepts of Generative AI and Agentic AI, focusing on how these technologies are used in practical business and operational contexts. Participants will learn how AI agents function, how different components interact, and how simple agentic systems can be applied to solve real-world problems. Learners will also be guided in setting up basic AI development environments and tools used throughout the course.

Python and SQL Development

Participants will gain introductory, hands-on exposure to Python and SQL, focusing on reading, understanding, and modifying simple scripts used in AI and automation workflows. You will learn how data is prepared and managed for AI applications, and how basic data pipelines support AI-driven processes

LLMs Architecture and LangChain Interactions

The programme introduces the fundamentals of Large Language Models (LLMs) and explains how transformer-based models are applied in real-world use cases. Learners will gain guided exposure to using frameworks such as LangChain to connect LLMs with tools, APIs, and external data sources to build simple, context-aware AI applications

AI Agent Development

You will learn how to design and build basic AI agents that follow predefined logic and workflows. This module focuses on structuring agent behaviour, using APIs, and enabling task automation through guided, step-by-step exercises rather than advanced independent decision-making.

AI Design Framework and Conceptualisation of RAG

The course also introduces Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts at a foundational level. Learners will understand how AI agents retrieve information from knowledge sources and how to assess whether outputs are relevant, accurate, and useful for the intended task.

Problem Solving, Implementation and Development of Agentic AI Agent

In the later stages of the programme, participants will focus on applying what they have learned through practical projects. You will learn how to translate simple business or operational problems into workable AI agent solutions, test your workflows, and refine them for reliability and usability.

Communication Skills for AI Specialists

Finally, the programme emphasises communication and documentation skills. Learners will practise explaining AI solutions in clear, non-technical terms, documenting their projects effectively, and presenting outcomes confidently to stakeholders, ensuring that their AI work delivers real value beyond technical implementation.

What is the differnece between Generative AI and Agentic AI?

Generative AI focuses on creating — text, images, code, or videos. It needs human prompts to produce outputs like drafts, answers, or designs. In essence, it’s reactive: it responds to what you ask and helps you work faster by generating content.

Agentic AI, on the other hand, goes beyond creation. It takes action by planning, deciding, and executing tasks with minimal input. Instead of waiting for prompts, it works proactively—chaining tasks together, solving problems, strategising, and adapting to achieve goals. This transforms workflows, delivering end-to-end outcomes and making AI a true driver of efficiency and innovation.
