This CBAP course has following prerequisites:

  • Learners need to possess a high school diploma or an undergraduate degree 
  • 900 hours of work experience in four out of six BABOK Guide Version 3 knowledge areas out of the minimum 7500 hours in the last ten years 
  • Minimum 35 hours of professional development (PDs) in the past four years

Exam & Certification

How to become CBAP professional?

  • Obtain formal CBAP training from an IIBA® Endorsed Education Provider like Simplilearn
  • Acquire an IIBA membership and apply for the CBAP exam online.
  • After passing the exam, you will be awarded the CBAP certification.

What is the passing score?

The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) does not disclose the passing score. However, you must aim to score at least 75 percent in all the modules. The passing mark can vary depending on the difficulty of the exam

How long is the certificate valid?

The certification is valid for three years from the exam date. You must re-validate your certification to keep it active.

Do you provide practice sets?

Yes, we provide one practice test as part of our CBAP course to help you prepare for the certification exam.

To earn the CSM certification, candidates must attend training with a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), then complete and pass the online certification exam.

How many attempts do I have to pass the CSM certification exam?

You have two attempts to pass the CSM certification exam to become a certified ScrumMaster with Scrum Alliance.

What is the validity of the CSM certification?

The CSM certification is valid for two years. After two years, certification holders must renew by paying a renewal fee and earning Scrum Education Units (SEUs) through continued learning.

If I fail the CSM Certification exam, how soon can I retake it?

If you fail the exam on your first attempt, you can retake it immediately at no cost within 90 days from the date you received your welcome email. After two attempts or 90 days, you will need to pay a fee for additional retakes.
